More space, meals to go, a catering business that will triple in number of months available and a new location in Waterville are highlights of the Pete's Pig expansion scheduled to open in April 2018.
A popular barbecue carryout in downtown Belgrade Lakes since 2011, Pete's Pig, previously located in Oakland, is also a thriving catering business for weddings, corporate outings and special events, has participated in central Maine food shows, been present at regional festivals such as the 4th in Winslow and the Taste of Waterville and more recently has offered "tastings" for future wedding parties hosted by owner Peter Clark and wife Barbara. The tastings will continue in Belgrade Lakes into the fall and bookings are being taken through 2018 (or longer).
The move to 35 Water Street in Waterville will enable further catering expansion and an additional catering business under the name Three Seasons Catering, with a whole new menu.
Pete's Pig will open at its new location near the Hathaway Building and Front Street in April 2018 and has plans to have a ribbon-cutting and open house in May.
